Hi,
You've exhausted me just looking at that. Lol

The ice cream place is actually called Ice Dreams, which is opposite the turn off to Perithia. Perhaps before visiting there, go for lunch or an evening meal at Zephyros in Almyros, traditional Greek fare and Mario and Marina are the perfect hosts.

Hi GJJW
I'm surprised they let you on this website if you've quoted Toulas in Agni and not Taverna Agni!
Also, going from Kassiopi to Agni without heading down to Agios Stephanos (NE)? Several good tavernas and bars there (Kaparelli, Galini, Damianos, etc.). Mind you, by the time you've done that itinerary you may not have the energy!

Hi GJJW,
You don't say where you are based. However, after the last post, I think that you really need to try Taverna Agni.
They do drunken mussels which are to die for and I am not particularly a seafood gal. You can get the speedboat from Agios Stephanos NE and other places on the NE coast which is a great experience.
Their food is amazing although you probably pay a little more for it, but it is worth it. You know what they say, you only get what you pay for.

Don't miss Avli in Garitsa bay. Best value for money, great dishes. Do your research in tripadvisor it's No 2 now, it was No for more than a year.

Hi GJJW,

Bye heck you don't intend on doing much do you? We have just come back from Singapore and Australia for five weeks and my list wasn't as long as yours and I research! I always find that it is best not to be in a regime where it has to be done, you can always come back and do it again next time you are there. I went to Sydney four times before I did the Bridge Climb, so it just goes to show, you always have an excuse to go back!

I would however, recommend the New Port in Roda and not the Roda Park. We have eaten in both places many times but found that the New Port has the edge.

Regards,
Pegasus.

Thanks for all your replies everyone. We are based in Acharavi and have our own little apartment there. Been coming since 1997 so have done a lot but my list of things to do is not a must do but a hopeful one if you get my drift. We aren't ones for lazing about too much and have hired a car so travel is no problem. I have done taverna Agni many times and love it but we have never been to Toulas so just trying to spread our business around. Sorry but Sidari is not my cup of tea!
Anyway, thanks again and any more suggestions are much appreciated.

I will be there for 2 weeks but my wife is staying till end of August. We arrive on 2nd August so plenty of time. Garcia Bay sounds great and is the Panorama in Porta? Also, can anyone advise exactly where the Olympia is on the Liston and if they still do the ouzo mezes?
Thanks all again

Just had another thought...we had a lovely lunch at The Orchard on the outskirts of Sidari. In fact the owner used to post on here a lot. Haven't heard from him for ages...hope he is still around and that the restaurant is still open.

Hi GJJW,
Only last week had an ouze meze at Olympia on the Liston, very good.
Believe that the Orchard restaurant in Canal D' Amour are opening now so Debbie and George would love to see you. x

Hi,
If you approach the Liston from the top end where McDonalds is, it is just down on the left hand side. Also known as Zissimos as well as Olympia.

Would suggest Rouvas taverna for lunch in Corfu town. Its just round the corner from M&S. best, and most authentic Corfiot food I have eaten on Corfu. Get there reasonably early as everything is fresh and when its gone its gone.Smile
its nice to be important but its more important to be nice
