For the first time, previously been to Benitses and Ipsos and all over Greece and Cyprus, but we keep returning to Kerkyra Smile. Going on the 10th June and I've loads of questions for you knowledgable folks!

We dont have a great deal of spending money as the dog had a slight accident and £500 went on vets fees so, where's the best place to hire bycicles, as the trip down the coast sounds good, and how much are the boat trips approximately? We've done a few from Benitses and I know they visit the same area, but that was in the days when it cost £6 for a day out on the boat with souvlaki on a BBQ! And how much is it by bus to Corfu Town, and do the buses actually stop? I say this as we once got stuck in Cyprus and even leaping out in front of one didnt stop it Smile I'm looking forward to spending my time snorkling, but I think I'm going to have my work cut out keeping the other half interested. Do you know if they do fishing trips from the river?

Hi, regarding boat trips.. try http://www.messonghi-travel-center.gr  they do all types of trips.
Buses stop regularly in Messonghi to go to town, but to be safe, a short walk up to the roundabout in Moraitika will take you to bus stops that take you to Corfu town (one way) or St.George South, Kavos, etc.. the other way.
As for snorkling.. If you walk down towards Boukari from Messonghi, there are excellent places to snorkel.. just find a secluded cove down there & it is wonderful.. I know, as I have done it!
Hope you enjoy the experience..we will be there at the same time, so might find you snorkling down there!
Keep calm and think of Corfu!
