Can anybody shed some light on the first photo at the top of the Kouloura page of Agni Travel ?

We've been past Kouloura several times on a coach and once walked down to Kalami from the top road but I don't remember seeing this view.

That's what I thought. It's been a few years now but I didn't think the old grey matter was letting me down. Looks interesting where-ever it is.

To my surprise Google says there's a Kouloura near Dumfries in Scotland but further investigation reveals it's just the name of the accomodation. Could the Owners be Corfu lovers?

Thanks Graham. The System didn't notify me of your reply for some reason. Long time no talk to by the way.

Not quite, Graham.  This is Corfu Yacht Club, which is on the northern side of the Old Fort, which is to the south of the Old Port.

The other yacht club in the area is the NAOK, which is on the opposite side of the Old Fort, just along the road from the Corfu Palace Hotel.

Cheers,
Martyn

Quite right Martyn. What I meant to say was between the new fort and the old fort. It's an age thing!!

I'll have to tease Nathan about having a photo of Corfu Town Yacht Club on the Kouloura page but it's still a lovely picture where-ever it is. What's the large building on the second tier next to the left-hand fort? Looks empty?
