The access to the rear of Seabreeze for a car is through the Municipal Car Park via a road just about opposite Stevens on the Hill. Seabreeze have their own private parking area.

Yes there is another way but its via the small lanes and brings you out at Sebastians Taverna, fine during the day but you would need a torch at night!

Ah yes I understand you now, I thought you meant 80 steps from the Sea breeze...I looked at the road behind the Ag G hotel and didnt like it! I totally agree that it's a no-no there, would the Sea breeze be ok do you think?
Is there an easier way into town from the back of the Sea breeze do you know? Or would peeps have to walk the boardwalk? xxx |

From the end of the board walk upto the AG hotel consists of around 80 steps, if you walk from the main street that runs through AG to the hotel, you need to climb cardiac hill, its a "no no" with a dodgy knee

If I were to go back I would stay at the Sea Breeze apartments, we ate here a few times this year (my first visit to Ag.G) and they are stunning apartments right on the beach, but nowhere near as far along the beach as the Aghios Gordios Hotel. You would still have to walk the boardwalk along the beach for a couple of hundred yards or so, but I am guessing there would be a way out at the back which would lead to the main street, without the hill climb involved in the Ag G hotel.
Have a look at these, and hopefully someone knowledgeable will come along and say how easy or otherwise it is to use the road behind the Sea Breeze.

Vatfall,
I agree with Gill, there are many locations in the resort which are suitable for what we should call the "Less Mobile". The Big hotel is certainly not one of them, you need to be very fit, have transport or use taxi's to get up and down. You have been given a link which could help you, see you there. Yammas, Colin.

Its a bit of a walk down the road to get to the centre of AG or the other way is down a number of steps to the beach then along a wooden walkway so maybe not the best location if you are not too mobile, brilliant sunsets though.
We usually stay at the Angelica which is up a hill from the bus stop in the centre of the village so thats probably not too good either. Have look here at other options http://agios-gordios.net/

I am thinking of going to AG for the first time in 2013. Can someone please tell me if it is far from the centre. I will be recovering from knee replacement surgery.
OR are there any better suggestions...no hills and central??
