Is there a good selection of shops in the village and if so has anyone got a photo of them please. Friends are going next month and are unsure whats there.

There are 2 little mini markets selling everything from bread and milk to fresh veg and fruit, fresh meat can be ordered in advance.
There are 2 tourist - gift shops, selling everything from lilos to beach towels, sunglasses to tea shirts, jewelery to gifts. There was a small jewelery shop last couple of years, but it was'nt open when we were there earlyer in the spring, it may well be open now though. There are 5 tavernas, and 2 bars. 3 boat hirers, and one lady that hires out beach loungers and brollys. They would have to travel out to Kassiopi or Acharavi for larger supermarkets, ATMs etc. Bob

It is small, but has everything easily available to enable you to live well. Bob and Wendy just about covered it all. Just to say that you can walk along the entire front of Ag. Stephanos (North East) inside two minutes so you don't need photographs. Everything is along the front and can't be missed.
So as long as it is Ag. Steph N.E. they are going to there is no problem finding anything. |
