Anybody out there who is going to Acharavi this year on a package holiday - do you go on the transfer coach or do you get a taxi up to resort. The only reason I am asking is that the last few years we have booked independently and have a taxi waiting for us on arrival and know that we can be in resort within about 45 minutes (sometimes before) - I really hate sitting on the bus, which sometimes can be 2 hours once you have gone round the houses!

Have you ever thought about having a hire car at the airport? I know some people arent confident about driving in Corfu but the euros we would of spent on a taxi cuts down the hire car costs and then you have the car for a while to explore. Sadly Im a bad coach traveller and would hate to be stuck on a transfer coach but thats just me, some enjoy the trip and you get to peek at other resorts as you go...julesxx
