Taverna Recommendations

There is not a single location that I would not recommend, food in the resort is to a very high standard. One of my favourite locations is Ortholithi which is located at the southern end of the beach. It is a small family run business which has built up it's reputation over many years. They also have a weekly Greek Night which is not run of the mill. The music is live and there are only a couple of dancers, it is more of a family affair rather than a "Set Piece" event. They also have an "Off Menu Menu" which you have to ask for. My favorite is Seafood Spaghetti, it must be ordered ahead as they will buy in what is your meal, no frozen produce. Another special is Rabbit Stifado, the traditional version, not the version of Stifado which is normally served. This also has to be pre-ordered, nothing is too much trouble for them.
