Can anyone tell me if the sunbed lady still has all her sunbeds up at the top end of the beach?  I don't really like it up there, much preferring to sit near the jetty and watch all the comings and goings.  Last year, it didn't matter because we were staying in Stratigos apartments, and they had sunbeds for their guests to use.  I used to be able to bring a sunbed down the beach, but for the last couple of years that hasnt been possible.

Hi BoltonLynda

Yes she does although Thomas has his own which are free. We always have an early morning coffee there so it doesn't make us feel too bad about using them all day, but to be honest we eat there quite a lot too. A lot of people have started reserving them now but if you get down early enough there's always some spare.

We don't go to Thomas's all that much so I would feel cheeky using his.  We like to sit right by the pier (on the opposite side to Thomas') and use that big round stone as a table!  Looks like I won't be spending much time at the beach Cry

Not really. The large millstone has been moved well away from the jetty.
New car park at the North end of the beach where the lady has all her sun beds now!
Thomas beds have increased somewhat.
Take time out from the beach. Move up to Elia Bar formerly Summer Dreams) Dorina & Eric will make you most welcome. Chill you out with cold drinks and great salads.
Great young couple with a newfFamily on the horizon.
No charge for the sun beds, but of course common courtesy will show you support their great efforts.

Hello Lynda

The millstone had been moved mysteriously during the winter and had ended a little further up the beach... during the beach clean up in May the stone was moved to enable the JCB to clear the end of the beach in front of the Stratigos (much needed). During the movement the police were called by some unhappy locals frustrated that the work was being done when tourists had arrived, the driver pushed the stone up near our path and was left uneven. The JCB fled after police intervention, I helped one of the local residents level the stone, the driver was due to return the next day to move stone back but never made it... so it has a temporary home a little further up the beach. It was nice to meet Woodie and Dee

Somebody's moved the 'doughnut'!  This must be remedied. My holiday wouldn't be complete without an hour or two sitting on the doughnut admiring the view.
