Spent a lovely afternoon with friends at Stevens yesterday.
Weather really hot. Had a beautiful club sandwich and a glass or two of wine. Yamas bar is now called Amos Bay Hotel  - it does not sell drinks just has accommodation.The Golden Fox pool today in Lakones is calling me - so a lazy one today again. Alison |

Alison, can you tell me if the seaweed is a problem this year. We were unable to return last year but in 2010 it was a real problem. Not only was it covering parts of the beach but there was also a lot floating in the sea. Noticed from the Daily Mail that the temperature on Corfu yesterday (Tuesday) was 91f.

We were at A.G yesterday at Stevens but did not go to the beach. From the top of the hill I did not see any weed. The beach looked very busy - lots of umbrellas out.
The weather is hotter today so I am staying in the spiti to clean and iron  Alison
