Hi
I haven't been to Ag Steph for a few years and am just about to book a holiday in September. Can anyone tell me the situation with the Jettys for the coming year and if you will be able to hire boats?

I think it is too early in the season to know what is happening but would definately still book your holiday.  Whatever the outcome the boat hire will still be available as it is the income for many of the residents and one of the big attractions of the area. Ag. Steph relies on the boat trade too much for the jetties to disappear completely.
Beside the sea all worries wash away!!

Sitting here in Kapareli taverna watching the rain and Albania lost in the murk, I can count the jetties for you.
Broadly speaking nothing much has changed since last November. There are 7 working jetties plus of course the fisherman's jetties round the harbour, so just the 2 bar jetties have gone, as well as their waterfront canopies, there are umberelas instead.
All the 3 hire boat set ups are getting ready to open, no boats in the water yet though.
Bob,
Jesus wants me as a sunbeam. And a jolly good sunbeam am I.

Thanks, Bob

Looks like it may be a bit wet for our arrival on Saturday. Had a meeting with the crew last night and at this stage, we still plan to head south to begin with and intend to be in Stephanos on 10th. So, good news on the jetties!
