Great news Thumbs Up It will be lovely to have the option to go over in the winter and although still a trek for us in Scotland, I hope to make use of this service.
I can close my eyes and see Paleo but it's not the same.........Roll on my next trip.

The prices are very good as well;example over Xmas/New Year - 20th December to Corfu from £102.41 and return on 3rd January from £70.34 (or on 7th January from £58.99).

Hi,
We have been looking at the prices of these flights too. Just hope that we can manage with cabin baggage only as once you start adding in the costs of hold luggage the prices go up considerably. Also been informed that Aegean are flying Corfu-Gatwick via Athens in the winter, so there are a few options now. Clap

Don't want to put downer on it, but don't forget to factor in the extra charges like luggage and booking fees Ouch
Otherwise brilliant news for Corfu.

May was the first time I had flown to Corfu with Ryanair- I was delighted with the service. My only gripe was that the site wouldn't recognise my booking to allow me to print out my return boarding card before I went so I had to do it while there. Apart from that- punctual, good price and nice staff. I am so pleased that there are winter flights even though they are not from Scotland...the start of good things to come I hope.

First time for us with Ryanair and cannot fault them.  Prices much better than Thomas Cook and Thomson.  Staff friendly and no delays on our flight out.
Like Paleogirl says bit annoying that you cannot print you return flight boarding pass until 15 days before the flight - we are here for a month so will need to find someone to print it down for us.

We have the same problem with Easy jet---boarding passes UK to Corfu are not a problem.
We have never bothered to print return to UK boarding passes out---we just produce our booking itinerary at check in at Corfu airport---not a problem!
I wouldn't chance doing that with Ryan air as good old ''Bryan'' will get ya!!Censored

Thats great news and very clever from Ryan Air's part. Many Corfiots -at least those who can still afford it- will spent a long weekend in London.
November roll on!!! (I always wanted to say that)

Shocked  Had a look at Ryanair for August and the prices not too bad, though higher than Queasyjet on the days I chose, until adding hold luggage. Hellfire! £60.00 for 15Kgs or £80.00 for 20Kgs. Sorry, but to put it politely, no chance. Also heard on the grapevine, they are going to charge £1.00 to use the toilet, or £5.00 for the inside one!!! Wink

Rumours around that Ryanair will now not be flying during winter?

Anyone in the industry heard anything?

Andy.

Have also tried for January and nothing now showing. I hope it is just a glitch as it would be a real shame. I have been told in the past that the main problem with providing winter flights was providing international arrivals at Corfu airport which is just geared up for domestic flights in the winter (all the passport checks are completed at Athens before you leave). Come on Greece surely you need all the help you can get!!!

Hi,
There are posts on facebook that say Ryanair have not been paid their fee by the Corfu authorities and are cancelling their winter flights. Don't know how true this is but would advise anyone that has already booked with them to contact them for information. Unhappy
