Returning to Lassi in September after a five year gap just wondered if anyone could let us know what changes we are likely to see. ie tavernas and bars closed down or new ones opened up. We are staying at the Lorenzo Hotel as before, and hope to visit all our favorite tavernas and our favorite bar The Aqurius. Any information please. Thanks

Hi Terry, not a lot changes in Lassi. Some tavernas have changed around for example near the Lorenzo hotel the Panorama is now Retsetes run by Eleni and  the family that also have the Ionio taverna next to Odyssey Bar. I think Aquarius will be open as usual. The Aqua Marina is now run by Nikos and his wife and they will again be having disco night and live music with John singing. I used to live in Lassi and I have moved to Svoronata - but you can't beat swimming in the sea at Makris Yialos. Magic. Have a lovely holiday!

Hi thanks for your reply Francesca, looking forward to our return in September and hope to be seeing a lot of familier faces. Have not forsaken Greece but have been trying a few different islands over the last five years. Thanks again, Terry
