Our residents permits need to be renewed. Does anyone know what paperwork will be needed? i.e. will we need new photos etc. etc..? I assume that the normal multiple number of photocopies will be required! Thanks, Wendy

You also need to know which Police Station you need to go to as the system has changed!

The new permit does not need to be renewed.
Mine was issued last year as I bought a car. I don't doubt you will need many more bits of paper than you think! |

Hi,
Not quite what you asked but, we were told that for a new residents permit for both of us we needed:- 4 up to date passport photos each 2 copies of each passport (Black and white OK)
2 copies each of up to date bank statement from your Greek bank account (copy of bank book showing balance of at least 700 euros for both of us, 350 if single application), and 2 copies each of front page with your personal details on) Ours is a joint account 2 copies of each of our EHIC cards They will also ask you how you entered Greece/Corfu? Will you be working? Are you Married? Parents Christian names? What village will you be residing in? Also what did you have for breakfast yesterday!!! Only kidding! ![]() I would just say be armed with all the details that you think that they may ask for. As MCH says, you also need to check which police station that you need to go to as this has changed fairly recently and although we live in Kavadades and Karousades is our nearest cop shop, we actually have to go to Paleokastritsa, which is miles away. Must say that the policeman that we saw in Karousades was really helpful and although he could not process our application, checked that we had all the correct documents etc. Good Luck!!! |
