Agios Gordios is an option. Thumbs Up

Watch the fantastic sunset, enjoy a great meal, dance the night away (Greek of course) and have a night to remember.

Oh, I love Corfu Town by night, when all the cruise ships have left and the locals come out in all their finery for their evening volta along the Liston. Absolutely magical!

I wasn't lost - I was just taking an interesting detour!

How about something completely different... a night down in Boukari... sitting having a meal, right by the waters edge.
There is nothing like it... and I will be there in 7 weeks...  Wink

Keep calm and think of Corfu!

A few years ago I was in Corfu town and it wasn't just people coming out, they were building stages and there were brightly-dressed dancers.  Unfortunately it was one of those stupid 'shopping by night' con-trips where you have to leave around sunset so I missed it all.  Though then the coach left early so the reps got me a taxi anyway - so I could have stayed all evening.  Don't know what the occasion was.  I can't remember if it was one of my usual June/July trips or the time I went September/August.  I seem to remember there was a festival in Paleokastritsa too.

How about the B&B in Old Perithia? It was on the Corfu TV series on ITV and looked lovely. Also has some very nice tavernas up there and the views are amazing.

The hotel in Old Peithia is lovely but I believe it is minimum of 2 nights rental. Also the taverna Ol Foros is very traditional and the onion pie is to die for (as confirmed by Rick Stein)!!!

J suggest Corfu town. One night stays can be expensive! Choose a CENTRAL hotel, some are too far out as I know, maps can be deceptive.      K

For central location suggest Cavalieri or Bella Venezia. Cavalieri has a lovely roof bar with wonderful views over Corfu Town and the Fort - great for cocktails and open to non residents.

Hi,
For a special meal in nice surroundings on Kassiopi harbour I would recommend To Kyma restaurant. A little more select than other restaurants with excellent food, very friendly staff and not much more expensive than others.

Have heard this recommended before. Where is it in relation to the harbour Elliemay - Is it near the Three Brothers and Petrino restaurant?

Apparently, Robert De Niro was a customer in there last August, so we were told while we were there.

Aforementioned Old Peithia and Ol Foros - you do not mention the time of year we are looking at but if it is low season, you never know,  the hotel may consider one night stay.

Ol Foros is a very basic traditional greek taverna in Old Perithia. See my previous post. For many years I believe it was the only place open in Old Perithia. Old stone building with low ceilings and flagstone floor and believed to be at least 300 years old. Was visited by Rick Stein who raved over the onion pie (to die for)!!!  I am sure you will be able to google it.

Hi Barrie,
Try the Panorama restaurant just out side of Kassiopi, everyone says it good and it is up the mountains, never had a bad meal anywhere!!!

Enjoy your birthday where ever you end up at?

For a complete contrast to Acharavi I would say Boukari or Petriti- good accommodation, one of the most beautiful coastlines on the island- as long as you like fish or shellfish you will have a wonderful meal right by the sea- and you can visit Corfu Town on the way south too.
