I've just had the dreaded phone call from Olympic. I only booked last week from East Midlands flying out at 8am with Jet2. It is now 9.30 and returning at 16.35. Could have been worse and I'm hoping thet don't change it again. Needless to say I had a good moan and told them it really was about time they got their act together!!!

We've been booked since last October with Olympic for are holiday back to Corfu, 15.15 flight with Jet 2 from Newcastle, untill a dreaded letter from Olympic popped through the door saying sorry but our flight has been brought forward to 08.15 instead, it suits me other half had a moan, but that was because the flight home is at dinner time as apposed to a 21.00hrs flight. I'm loosing a days bronzying .. again suits me not the wife, on the whole it is still inconsideret. But hey where still ganning. |

We booked with Jet2 direct and ours is changed as above. We get vupmearliewr but get there earlier som works out the same. As long as we get there we will be happy!

Our BMI flight has been changed from 6.30am to 1.15pm and 7.30pm coming back so not too pleased as we like an early flight to get there about lunch time so it gives us time to unwind before going out in the evening. Oh well at least we are going. Only four weeks now.

A phone call Helen, and so much in advance, must be gold starred on Olympic's computer! You obviously made an impression. At least you will still be in time for the last boat over, so no Kavos, weather permitting! Shouldn't have to get the first boat back either.
At least it's a genuine jet2 changing the time change rather than the Strategic/tor Air etc flights that all showed the same morning flights that they never intended on running in the first place.
Been given the go ahead to book now, but the place HWWLTBO wants isn't available till the week after you arrive. Just playing around with flights now and trying to not get too giddy, ha ha. I will look for you under the pergola with your big floppy, not Bill and Ben, hat

 Yeah!! Fingers crossed for you Tina!! Never mind a gold star I'm probably black listed now with Olympic as I had a right moan!! I know its only an hour and a half later but I made it quite clear that should it change to a later time again or we are delayed and a stay on Corfu is required that I would not be prepared to be sent to Kavos!! (Sorry! Cover your ears Kavos fans) Tina did you get stranded and want to stay in Corfu town but they would not let you?? If that should hapeen I will pay to stay in Corfu (names and suggestions of hotels anyone?) rather than be sent to Kavos! |

Tina B I booked last year with Olympic for Corfu as it was the only TO to go to KIH but you guese originally out from Birmingham 09.00 but now 18.10 arrive 23.30. So 1 day holiday lost from office and half a day night in Corfu not pleased at all. But now they have alternative flights! But have to cancel (loose deposit) and re-book !!
   I may now cancel and go somewhere else? Last year they did the same to me and family that came out to join me!! Never Olympic again.

Bit of news re Strategic......
The 3 A320s belonging to Strategic Airlines have been grounded by the British authorities over the weekend due to technical reasons. It's likely your flight will be sub chartered. Do I hear a cheer??
