Well I thought I'd post this as I was fed up with seeing the same comment on the Aegean page for so long.
Kalymnos was even better than we had remembered from our previous visit. The "new " road has opened up more of this beautifully rugged island, but its character is unchanged. Kantouni beach was still beautiful, the Rock n Blues bar still quietly rocked. This time the airport was open which was huge fun to watch.
Normas Village was all that we had hoped for and we met some kindred spirits there. The islanders were welcoming and on a couple of occasions showed us great kindness. We will return again, maybe we wont leave it quite so long next time.
