Hi All
I e-mailed Nikolas Taverna to request more details about the Greek night, and below is the response for anyone that is interested:

Thank you very much for your e-mail.

Thursday night in Nikolas Tavrena is an authentic Greek traditional night with live music, dancing and happenings.

The night’s meal consists of: starters, salad, spit roast lamp and chicken, potatoes, desert and free local wine. The price is 25 euros per person and for children under 12 is half price.

If you want to attend on the night please call us to book your table at 26630 91243 or if you stay in Kalami bay visit “Kalami Tourist Services” to book your free boat transfer to the taverna and your table, as soon as you can because the night is very popular and gets fully booked easily.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Best regards

From Nikolas Taverna

Many years ago, as a teenager staying in Kalami, they asked me to stand on the jetty and when a sufficient number of people had gathered, to use a walkie talkie to summon Periclis in his little boat. The only thing I had to do was make sure to keep numbers of those who had booked and those who hadn't.

A delightful middle aged American couple came walking along the beach, and asked whether they were in the right place for the boat to Agni. I said yes, and asked if they had reservations. They looked at each other for a second, and then he said, 'No son, we're expecting to have a real good time.'

Quite endearing really. We had a good laugh about it.
Oh, why not. Just a small one.

Went to the Greek night last Thursday (14th June) at Nikolas and had a great night. It costs 25 euros per person which included a lovely meal and wine, beer and soft drinks, and of course that lovely boat trip. Great value and highly recommended.

We were there last Thursday the 21st June, and had the BEST time. Lots of fun and very good value for money. Where does Pericles get his energy from?
and Charlie, Nia and Daniel's Gran too
