Don't know if you are aware yet, but if you want to thank someone for a post, you don't need to make a post you can actually click on the Thanks icon above their post.

lol. Sorry, I was adding a holiday countdown. You can add your holiday date in your profile. Enable a signature and it should show at the bottom of your posts. I'll look at programming some extra features for it soon!
