Looking at Kefalonia for a holiday. There's four of us and we'll be looking for an apartment rather than hotel, somewhere not too noisey - close to the beach/tavernas etc. All ideas welcome.

Hi Spike. I am based in Kefalonia and if you want cheap accommodation virtually on the beach I would look at Vrahinari region of Kefalonia - fine sandy beach. Studios for 2 persons Vangelis, Dionisis and Remetzo. Book with Agni Travel www.agni.gr/travel/kefalonia.More cheap studios and maisonettes for 4 right by the beach in Katelios at Dreams www.katelios-dreams.com. The Vrahinari studios are next to a great taverna. Dreams is next to the Dreams snack bar. These are both quiet areas.
