Help Choosing: Sunset Hotel Or Corfu Palace

   Hello

I am travelling to Corfu with my two children next summer (age 5 and 7) and we need a hotel in Corfu town for a couple of nights with a pool, ideally. I've been quoted for both Sunset and the Corfu Palace, but the latter is SOOOO much more expensive I'm looking for some justification for choosing it over the Sunset. Can anyone help? 

The Sunset is quoting 75 euros/night whereas the Corfu Palace is 160 euros/night. I know the Corfu Palace is walking distance from the town but at over double the price of the Sunset that seems a lot more to pay for being in the centre. Does anyone have any direct experience of these hotels and can sway me one way or other?

	Hi Helen, My wife and I have stopped in both hotels and both are excellent. The Corfu Palace is very central for Corfu but tends to cater more for couples, for example no inflatables are allowed in the pool and the pool area is very quiet. The Sunset is further out from Corfu town but an easy taxi ride away, the rooms are very nice and the pool area large and clean. If I was taking young children I would probably opt for the Sunset, the Corfu Palace is lovely but very expensive and it's more a couples experience. The Sunset is really nice, child friendly and a lot cheaper! Either way you will not be disappointed!! Andy
