Yes I think it is supposed on the old Bar 38 site on the main street. I dont mind a nice Chinese meal now and again, but not sure about having one in San Stef. Still I suppose it helps to  keep the village going.

Each to their own but I find the thought of Chinese food in Greece as welcoming as McDonalds anywhere!
Basically eating out is an event where I want to try something new that I can't cook myself.

Agree with you Don, each to their own, why would you want a Chinese meal when there is so much fantastic Greek food to choose from.

A few years ago a Chinese restaurant opened on the beach road--it lasted about 3 weeks.Star
Can't imagine who would eat there when the Greek food is sooooo good.

Hi,
What about the people that live here all year around? Surely they would like a change in the cuisine that they eat just as we do in the UK.

There used to be an Indian Restaurant next to Aspa supermarket but we only saw it the one year.

Elliemay is so right - my Greek friends enjoy meals at China Town Sidari (and so do I) which opens a few days a week all winter I believe.

Hopefully I'll walk over to San Stefanos from Sidari one day this week and try and remember to note any changes.

San Stefanos here we come - just 8 sleeps to go. I did take the family on a bus ride there in May but unfortunately it was the day of torrential rain, thunder and lightening!! Not the best first impression for them although it was lovely to see friends for a catch up over warming cups of coffee. Now I'm going over there with friends and looking forward to 14 days of relaxation, walking, socialising and definitely SUN!!
