Kalimerasas,

 I have a colleague at work who is going to the Sani Resort on the Kassandra peninsula in Halkadiki. They are travelling independently and are unfamiliar with the area. I've not been up there in years. What is the best way to travel to their resort? Taxi- should they book in advance and if so who from? How much is this likely to cost? Or would a bus be a good idea?

I can close my eyes and see Paleo but it's not the same.........Roll on my next trip.

From what I remember of Halkidiki, we stayed at Pefkochori. Our transfer was included and it took ages.
It was not meant to stop at Sani but did. It took a good hour plus I think. Google says 1hr 20mins.
Google Thessoloniki to Sani and it will give you an idea, but if they are new to the area I would say book a transfer and then if they want a car book at the resort. Driving round Thessoloniki is not for the faint hearted!!Exclamation
