Hello again, I'm going to be in Paxos next month and have just realised our visit will include the date of the Election. Sorry if this is a naive question, but will the election have any impact on the usual Sunday opening hours for tavernas & shops? Just thought I would find out in advance so I can stock up on some supplies if they are all closed. Thanks in advance.

Election affect Paxos, very much doubt it.
Most shops do shut on Sundays, bakers, butchers etc, unless it is high season. The 'cigarette' shops are usaully open such as Marigos in Lakka. Not sure about Gaios or Loggos as bus doesn't run on Sundays. Probably will be somewhere for some supplies anyway. All the tavernas and bars will be open, well the ones that have opened for the start of May. Some wait till later in the month.
