Hello.
I wondered if anyone had been to Gouvia in Corfu. I can't see any topics on it, so would be grateful for any info. ![]() |

Thank you, Melmoth.
We returned home, from our holiday to Gouvia, on Monday. Had a brilliant time and didn't want to come back! I have already booked the same Villa for next year. ![]() If you need any info on anything or anywhere I will try to help. Have a safe trip and a wonderful holiday. ![]() |

Hello Dawn. I hope you enjoyed your time on Corfu. Wifey and I are currently watching ‘My family and other animals’ on DVD to get us in the mood, we’re flying out on June 8th. Depending on the Greek elections, it could be our first holiday in which we’ve needed two different currencies! What did you make of the beach there in Gouvia? I’ve heard it’s mostly pebbles but that there’s a much better one just down the road at Kontokali. Best wishes – Chris. |

There are several good restaurants in Gouvia and Kontokali, our favourites are 9 Muses and Verginas.
We're flying out on the 8th, but we're stopping at Potamos. We will be visiting Gouvia a few times, bobbo

We have been visiting Gouvia since 1988. Still enjoy it as much today as we did then. We find it very laid back & relaxing. No nightlife as such. There are a few nice restaurants & bars e.g. Molfetta Beach which overlooks the bay. We find Gouvia good for getting to other parts of the island e.g you can catch the local bus to Corfu Town very easily or the other way to Dassia & Ipsos. We enjoy a walk from Gouvia to the next resort of Kontokoli & the Marina. We will be going back to Gouvia in September 2012.
