Does anyone know the best places to fish around the Kalami area? Just a general line and bait from beach will do, bit of fun really, maybe catch a fish for BBQ...not boat fishing. Also do supermarkets stock bait and line?

There are usually people sat fishing off the stone jetty which the Agni and Nikolas boat use.  I don't know what the supermarkets stock sorry.

Don't know about Kalami in detail, but many tourist shops sell hand lines complete with hooks etc; many also sell small fishing rod kits.
In Acharavi the dive shop sells fishing gear, as does Tavros Supermarket.

You will be able to buy a hand line or a simple rod in the shops in Kalami. You can fish from the jetty but it may also be worth trying off the rocks in Yaliskari if you can find a safe point or maybe the harbour in Kouloura. My husband just uses fresh bread flake but there is fish bait available (but not anywhere in Kalami). Apparently you should always throw lots of the crust into the water to attract the fish first!!! Good luck.
