Hi
We are looking to book a week in Finikounda in July but would like to know what it is like please.
We like a really Greek resort with nice tavernas and a beach with a tavernas along side for lunch.
Also anyone got any recommendations for for accommodation.
Any information is appreciated.

Thank you.

There are tavernas which back onto the beach almost the whole length. It is very Greek and not at all noisy

Kallisti Studios...Thomas Cook are good.

Hi SusieH

Thank you for your reply.
Where are the Kallisti studios situated are they on the beach front?
And are they near to tavernas etc.
We love Greece but don't like it loud and brash and after reading about Finikounda it sounds ideal for us.

Thank you.

Can't speak personally, but a couple of our friends have stayed there a number of times, and they speak highly of it. They particularly choose a location without a pool for quietness.
Always check google maps etc; to see where an accommodation is located.

Thank you I will do that.
I have looked at images online of Finikounda and it looks quite a long resort so that's why I asked as I don't want to be on the outskirts but would like a seaview position if possible.
Thank you

Kallisti Studios are close to the beach and have a sea view and near to tavernas. I have friends who stay there.

Look at Galaxidi for somewhere different, very Greek, and stunningly beautiful.

I have had a look it does look beautiful but is it quite hilly?
The flight is to Athens then bus how long is this?
We are hopefully going to Finikounda in July and may try Galaxidi next year.

I have managed to get accomodation down to 3. Porto Finissia Hotel, Kallisti or Korakakis, just do not know which to choose. Could someone steer me in right direction please 😎
Bearing in mind this is our first visit to Finikounda but we have been to many other Greek venues.
Look forward to all the tips 😃

Galaxidi is not hilly- at sea level- but you can get transport up to Delphi and Arachova up on Mount Panassus.  Long bus trip from Athens- probably about 3 hours. Also at sea level nearby Itea and 70 kms away lovely Nafpaktos.
