So, when I go to Acharavi, I usually frequent Adonis, Orpheus, Central, Mythos and Nosey Corner (can't remember the Greek name)!
Are there any gems that I am missing that I can visit in August?
Cheers all

We enjoy the Hovoli and Poets Corner in the old town and the little kafenion just past the blue grill room (can't remember name) the lady in there is an artist and displays some of her works. Both she and her husband Yannis are so friendly.

Ah, Hovoli...that's what I call Nosey Corner, as you can sit and watch the world go by. Used to stay directly behind Poet's Corner but not been in there for years. I'll definitley be giving the kafenion a try this year too.
Thanks

Hi, Have to agree with Barrie, Hovoli and Poets Corner are really good, Nico in Poets is a great guy and always makes you welcome, also the kafenion that is on the main road opposite the church is a good place, Kosta who runs it is also a really good guy and you are always made welcome. Our best place ever in Acharavi was Apneoa on the beach which sadly closed a couple of years ago. We will be over in July with the family, been every year since 1998, a great place.

Is the kafenion in the old town (next to Theritas restaurant) ran by Spiros and Geraldine still open? Can't remember its name unfortunately.

We like to have morning coffee at Tet A Tet next door to Central bar, sometimes nip in there for a GnT before eating somewhere in the evening, then finishing in Central Bar for Brandy, Coffee and perhaps a dance, except for football nights then go elsewhere.
Just had a quick meal at the Pumphouse then straight back home, Wendy has had a 4 day migraine, driving her nuts, we've had to cancel things daily, not like her, she doesn't get them normally. Bob. |

Pythagoras coffee cup is a wonderful and amazing cup. This coffee cup can be very useful in regulating the amount a person takes per day. Here they provide ultimate guide coffee cupping to make your day perfect. The measurement meter can be seen from this picture. The look is also good.
