Hi,
I would like to recommend a fish taverna in Arillas where we have had two excellent meals in the last three days.Yup, it was that good the first time. Lol
It is called Vavilas and is on the road leading into Arillas at the left hand side of the beach facing the sea.
Would advise booking as when we got there tonight there was only one table left. Great food and very reasonable prices. They open at 5pm.

Would also try the Amourada at the junction into Arillas near the supermarket, great seafood and very reasonably priced too. See pic in my gallery.

Hi,
Know Armourada, but have to say I still love Vavilas as they catch the fish that they serve there fresh every day. If it is not fresh, but frozen, he tells you so.

Hi, Have to agree, we went to Vavilas last year and couldn't believe what good value it was and such good food too. Can't get back to Arillas this year but will definitely be there next year and will absolutely have to go back to Vavilas.

elliemay, they have to tell you if they are serving frozen fish or meat, its greek law. it is normally printed in the menu. not eaten at vavilas but it sounds good if they use their own catch and will certainly give it a try if i get back to arillas. had lunch once at the amourada and it was great, and fantastic value.
