Does anyone ever read a post with the outcome that in the future, they may  or have changed their venue, and found theyve missed so much for many years?

This thought came about from someone I work alogside, that had been going to Spain for the last 40 years or so 60+ set in their ways  and me going on about Greece and how wede found it many many years ago after going Spain.

Well
Theyve just come back from a week in Athens.
They hadnt told me they were going as Ide have gone on and on about this coffee shop that taverna and where to shop.

Well,
pleased to say they loved the place, the people, the atmosphere, and quote "wished wede listened to you years ago "theyve booked Agistri after going on a day trip from Pireaus"
They had got a terrific deal through their local travel agent in Manchester, flight, 3 star+ in the centre of Athens but did their own thing after the first 3 days as the tours became predictable, this site, then perticular cafe, obvious the rep got a back hander and not with to T/O choice ille bet.  They ended up in Pireaus after listening to the hotel porter who had a "friend" in the port the old just ask for Spiros the shipping agent type of assistance   But it worked for them ...
They took "Spiros:s advice and thats how they ended up on Agistri.
Well another convert to Greece allbeit not Corfu but hey Ille work on that for next year.

I loved Agistri when we went there some years back but I think it is probably somewhere where you do not go to every year.. It is very small LOL

So you have every chance of persuading them to try Corfu next time. After all they can fly direct, no long ride from Athens Airport to Pireas!!

Agistri is very beautiful. The view, when you arrive on the ferry, is breathtaking! Wonderful beaches, nice people. But, as you say SusieH, it is very small & the ferry journey is very tedious.
Personally, we like to get to our resort quickly and settle in, although we are glad we tried Agistri, but prefer to stick to Corfu.

Oh thats for sure but I fear I may be the tour guide for the first couple of days there. It will only be my 30th time there so I know it a little.

Haha, all the time.
We've booked flights to Corfu for 10 days on the 23rd July. I havent booked any accomodation because I can't make a decision on which resort to stay in. Every time I read a forum, or view some pictures on trip advisor I change my mind.
I have a friend who swears by Sidari and visits every year. This was my original resort of choice but I'm not sure if its too commercial for my taste. Every time I read a post I change my mind, and I'm getting panicky because its only 11 weeks until we go and we have nowhere to stay.
I've been to Greece many times growing up and always rave on about my preferences for it over other places. However, its been a long time since I went to Corfu with my parents so I thought we'd give it another shot.
There's me, my partner and our 6 year old daughter, so if anyone has any recommendations to put stop to my indecisiveness then it would be a god-send.
Stuck between Kassiopi, Roda, Paleo, but open to anything!!!
Thanks in advance :-)

I would say Kassiopi every time. Each year we hire a car and go to other resorts North, East, South and West, some two or three times over the years ,including Roda, Paleo. But each time we get back to Kass we turn to each other and say Naaaaar. Stick to Kass. It's just like coming HOME Hug

Keep taking your, take a holiday in kassiopi pills. L.1.G

Given the choice its Roda for us every time. Kassiopi is too much like Sidari. Roda is peaceful  the beaches are great and most important safe for children
