Hi everyone we are coming to Nissaki in mid July- not a time I've ever been on holiday before, due to heat and high season!! So, two questions really-is it really only reaching 32 degrees or is that just a load of nonsense, and also, how crowded do the beaches get? I'm used to September when the sea is like a bath and most people have gone home!
We are not agrophobic in the slightest, but just want there to be enough space for a snorkel and a swim without bumping in to some poor granny or accidentally stepping on a toddler! We are not driving this time, so cannot go in search of somewhere far awayb ut wondered if anyone knows of anywhere accessible locally around Nissaki that may be more off the beaten track? We don't mind a bit of rugged terrain walking! (I say this now, when it's 15 degrees here!!)
I know it's early to be asking about small details, but we are just looking forward to our holiday so much! Any help would be appreciated, thanks all.
Zoe

No no Boskat, I was meaning that I would feel terrible about bumping into someone whilst snorkelling!! As in "oh no! I bumped into that poor granny with my head whilst snorkelling cos it was so crowded, I really hope I didn't hurt her" It was just an illustration of a crowded sea. I assure you I have no intention of stepping on a toddler either!

What a relief, had visions of the sea full of squashed toddlers and concussed grannys!!! Liapades Beach on the west coast just below Paleo is excellent, so they say for snorkelling, and not usually too busy when we go, May/June but maybe in July, although round the rocks to the left of the beach is always quiet. Take a look.

I usually walk laft along the path from Nissaki to where there are steep rocks into the sea.

There a few places where you can climb down and have no-one with hundreds of metres. The snorkeling is good too.

Oh that sounds lovely! I'm glad it's not too far from main beach too, so I can just swim round and not embarrass myself trying to pull my sorry carcass back up the rocks! Thanks for info...
