Hi Cjp

We didn't manage to eat/drink in Acharavi this year, but on our visits to the island, I think it's fair to say that prices (generally) much that same as last - and in some instances prices have been reduced slightly.

Hi Cjp, we went to Acharavi 15-29 June and were really surprised at how cheap eating and drinking was. Beer was anywhere bewteen 1.50 - 3 euros, wine was about 2 euros per glass, cocktails between 3.50 - 4 euros. Me and my husband were eating out 2 x main courses, large bottle water, 1 glass wine and large beer for around 20 euros.
Cigarettes 29 euros for JPS, I bought L&M Red back- 8 packs of 23 at 3.40 euros per pack (27.20 per sleeve).
Hope this helps, enjoy your holiday x

Greece is one of the cheapest countries in Europe. You can have Full English Breakfast for 2.5 euro for example!!

Agree with the above. We found prices were slightly lower than last year and draught beer at Woody's was 2 euros per pint so good value (and it was lovely and cold). Food is always good in Acharavi and if you choose your eating place wisely (Woody's or Acharavi Park) you will always get good value. I am sure the same goes for other places but these were the places we used and found them always to be good value. Enjoy your holiday.
Enjoy your holidays. You deserve them!

My husband loved going to Woodys for a large glass of Zorbas at 2 euros. We also bought Vergina beer in 500ml bottles for 1.50 euro in Adonis and across the road in Alohas (I think that's the name of the bar).

I like sitting at the Adonis and the Hovoli and just watching the world go by with a 1,50 euro bottle of Vergina and the lovely atmosphere. Bliss...roll on 3 August.

I must say the islands are cheaper as far as food and drinks are concerned. I haven't visited this year but my friends did camping and scoop diving at the west side of Acharavi and they found their budget under control with savings more than expected. You can dine out at cheap rates because Greece is a cheaper country, you can buy packs of smokes although my friends didn't bring one on my request but it is very possible and you will have a magnificent vacations, have blast.
cheers.

Just come back from Acharavi. Prices very good. Went to Mythos (formerly La Foggion) on main road just out of Acharavi towards Kassiopi. Had 2 sofritos half carafe of wine and large bottled water 18 euros the lot!! The menus restricted because they want to concentrate on a few select meals but the sofritos was one of the best and the owner and chef very friendly.
Spending on average for two people main course, wine and water between 18 - 24 euros (occasional starters)
Love acharavi love newcastle united love ya family love life 🍻😜

Hi, I was just after some advice please. I recently holidayed in Sidari and was very impressed with the cost of eating out and I am hoping to take my family back to Corfu next year. As there are four of us going on a tight(ish) budget I was wondering what the general opinion is of the cheapest resorts for eating/drinking out, would you say it's Sidari or are there other places at Corfu as cheap as Sidari? We were only paying 6 to 8 euros for each evening meal and breakfasts were averaging at 3 euros even including juice and coffee and I wondered if all the resorts on Corfu is this cheap? Any advice would be appreciated as I'm keen to go somewhere where we'll be able to afford to eat out each night. We're also hoping for a nice beach for the children (14,12) with clear sea where they can see the fish swimming and maybe even feed them. Thanks.

Hi Sidari is pretty much as cheap as prices get, Acharavi is more expensive and shingle beach but quieter also, Roda was cheap for us this year with breakfasts around the 2.75 mark and drinks etc also cheaper than Acharavi, Roda also has a sandy beach, all the best.

Thank you for the information, I'll look into places at Roda too. Can I ask if the evening meals/drinks at Roda are roughly the same price as Sidari?

Hi again, the prices in Roda and Sidari are pretty much the same, its usually the places that attract the younger crowd that are the cheapest, we allways stay in Acharavi which is quieter which we prefer but we often go to Roda for breakfast.  Roda is around the same as Sidari ie 6 to 8 euro a meal Acharavi is around 8 to 10 depending where you go to. Depends on what you like, both Sidari and Roda attract the younger crowd but Sidari is the busier of the two. We stayed in Sidari 13 years ago when there was only 5 bars and an handful of hotels, how times change.

I would agree the prices in Roda and Sidari are much the same, and probably the cheapest resorts. I wouldn't say however that they attract a particularly young crowd. I'd say they are more family resorts than anything else, suitable for 18 - 80! My daughter went to Kavos at 17 and loved it. She went back at 21 and said she felt old! I think the resorts that attract the really young crowd,e.g. Kavos, are the most expensive. We spoke to a couple who had been in Kavos with their children (big mistake) and managed to get moved to Sidari. They reckoned prices were at least three times more expensive in Kavos! They said they could have stayed for 3/4 weeks in Sidari for what they spent in one week in Kavos. Good luck.        Moyra

Thank  you for the information, I'll look for both and see what comes up at a good price.  We really enjoyed Sidari in September as a couple so I'm thinking it would be nice to take the children there and Roda sounds lovely too. We stayed in Canal D' Amour which was lovely and quiet but it was nice to be walking distance to the strip too. I've found one place that seems nice, Yiannis ii, just need to find out about if there's air con there etc as not many reviews.

Me too as I find Sidari a little to busy in the holiday season. But, horses for courses, we all like different things.
