Hi All
Has anyone ever been around the Corfu Brewery and done the tour? Is it worth doing and what is the cost please.

Have been to the Kumquat place it's a distillary. They do tours or you can go on your own it's free to go they do not sell beer. But can get Amoretto, cherry brandy etc. We usually go and get some supplies for the apartment and they do lovely Kumquat jam, lovely in the morning on that Greek bread. Also you can try anything free they do a demmo a great afternoon or morning.

The brewery tour is well worth doing and it doesn't cost anything. The best way is to phone the brewery or take pot luck and just visit. If they are bottling visits aren't normally allowed and sometimes there can be coach parties which may cause you a delay. You can have samples after the visit and have a chance to buy souvenirs, t-shirts, beer glasses etc. Spiros and Klaudio love talking about their beers but if they are not about the lovely Stella (Estelle) will show you around. I have visited every year since it opened, I have been once this year and will be going again in just over a week.

Its not just the beer thats good, its the friendliness and enthusiasm for beer of the people who work there. 

IT IS WELL WORTH GOING
