Hi,
The price of cigarettes is fixed by the Government so they should be the same price all over the island, including the airport.
Superkings are €39 and Rothmans €40 for 200.

I got 200 Rothmans gold for; 350 Euros in Dassia supermarket. By the way Elliemay, (that rhyme !) How come you can type a euro sign on your keyboard and I can't? Maybe my keyboard like me, is out of date.

Just got home on Tuesday, and hubby bought Superkings. They are now up to 41 euro for a carton of 200. Unless you find old stock still in some places at 39.2 euro spread over 200 isn't bad, still a lot cheaper than here.

Hi Mistert,
To get a euro sign, you have to press the keys: Ctrl, Alt and then 4. Then magically a euro sign appears. xxx

Assos are €33 for 200 and are a mild ciggy.
Golden Virginia is now €8.90 for 40 grammes,
Last year it was €6.90 so quite a rise but it still works out at 50% of the UK price.

If you buy in Greece to take home make sure you keep the receipt as you may be asked for it at the airport (it should not matter but after all, it is Greece!!!)

Just paid €41.00 for 200 Superking Blue. As every one says the prices are fixed by the government. They were just putting them up when we got there.

When we went to order our cigarettes before we came home, Jannis who runs the little kiosk took down what he had on his shelf and said that he would put them to one side for us. We went to collect them on our last Saturday about 9.15 a.m. and he said that they were there and would turn about round 10 ish. So I sat in the sun, whilst hubby had a small Amstel. When it came to pay he did charge what was on the carton, so I paid 800 at the old price of €39.00 and the rest at €41.00. The saving I made compared to what I would have paid for them back home was the price of the flights and some.
