Hi, I hope somebody can help!

My parents are currently building a villa in Loustri. I've a son who will be about 15months by the time we get to visit them this summer. He needs some equipment: highchair, travel cot and most importantly a car seat over there.

My parents will be driving over for the summer in June and probably wont have any room in their car for all his bulky items and as we'll be flying over with one of the no-frills airlines I dont want to have to pay 20euro or more per item to bring them out with us! (I know the buggy goes free so not worried about that!) to make matters worse flightwise, we are travelling from ROI so will have to do two flights as no direct flights from Ireland these days

So my question is:

Does anyone know of a good, reasonably priced baby shop somewhere on Corfu, preferably with a website, where I can source the things we need so they wont have to be brought over? My son is the first grandchild so I'm sure (fingers crossed!!) that there will be plenty of other babies to use the stuff in later years so dont mind buying it to leave there...

Jumbo is absolutely filled to the rafters with anything you would need for a baby.

Yep, Jumbo.
From Loustri, make for Town and the airport, before you get there take the road to the south of the island, its about a mile or so from the airport I would guess, on the right hand side of the road.

Would fully agree with Bob.  There are a number of "baby specialist" places around but Jumbo has, from what I have seen, the best range of goods / prices - we hit the store when our first grandchild came to stay!

I know this is a bit late

Defo go to Jumbo for the items. They have pretty much everything there... i.e toys, travel cots, car seats, children's plates spoons cups etc, potties... I would recommend not buying any clothes here there as the prices for most stuff is ridiculous. When I had my baby I got a lot of the things from there and they were reasonably priced and not bad quality either. There is a Mothercare but its 5x more expensive there.

Many mums and dads may not think about the real cause of early skin rashes that have a child. And the reason for this is diapers, shampoos, the same about which you write in the article. However, it is very difficult to imagine the life of a mother and a child without this. Food, clothes, toys, cosmetics for newborns, caring parents need to buy so many things cause these are necessary goods that accompany the baby from the first days of life. Their quality and safety must be at the highest level. I buy organic baby products that can be found in this Natemia.com store. The health of the baby is the main thing for me.
