HI guys
Happy new year.
We're booked for June this year!! We'll be part of a group of 6.
I'm wondering about boat rental, we usually have one of the standard one from Christos in Lakka that carry 4 (I can't remember the HP but it's at the higher end for those ones as we go to Anti Paxos).
I see Thalassa do bigger boats that carry 6 can anyone give me an idea of the daily rental price and whether you need any kind of special licence or insurance for the bigger boats?
Thank you

The largest boat you can drive without a license is 30hp and if you usually go for the higher end chances are you will have hired this size engine in the past. Obviously a larger boat with more people will be slower and you will use more fuel but still sufficient. Have fun.

I've no idea of the costs, but if you email Lefcothea at Thalassa she will let you know. She's very helpful without being at all pushy, (also great fun). The Roxy Bar also have large boats for hire, Malcy is the one to give you the low down on what they have specifically.

Nardine - You will be fine with Thalassa, Lefcothea and Pano.
Boat will be 30HP but so much better than those offered in Lakka.
See the pro mo with Lefcothea riding the 175hp!!

Hi Malcy
I watched lots of the promo video's, a big boat would be tonnes of fun!! Might die ... but hey ho at least it'd be in one of my favourite places in all the world.
I see you're there at around the same time as us, maybe we'll bump into you (on land!)
