I have seen John Smiths on Corfu, but don't know if it's available in Sidari.  I would add that I find bitter does not taste so good in a hot climate (and I'm a real ale drinker).

You can get Corfu Beer, they do three types one of which is similar to Bitter. Brewed on the Island at a Micro Brewery. I've not seen it at many places & only in bottles at The Aquarius Bar (next to Kanali Apartments)..... very nice though.

You normally can get the John Smiths or other popular beers in some of the bars, but try the local stuff, if you still dont like it supermarkets sell the cans of popular beers.

Ok mmmm ...Mythos is a great beer/lager, but in the UK I buy mine in Morrisons...Smile a supermarket chain.
Boddingtons beer was brewed in Manchester and was always known as" quote" the  Pride of Manchester.
The brewery was demolished 5 years ago and moved to be brewed in South Wales so it could no longer be called  the Pride of Manchester  any more ..
So my question was how can it still be a Manchester brew.
I hope thats helps anyone who is Bi -linguel

Like Martyng, I am a real ale drinker but would sooner go without than drink John Smiths or Tetleys (they should have stuck to tea) but I can live with Mythos in Corfu on a hot day as real beer is not the same when it's so hot and dry.
The Corfu real beer is OK so long as it is not too hot outside.

Don't the English-style bars sell beer and ales?

The places that sell Pukka pies, Roast Dinners, etc,  that I avoid like the plague, lol!

Definately Mythos!   Mmmmmm sipping a cold Mythos whilst relaxing in a friendly taverna overlooking the beach just people watching life away! Bliss.

May need to have a wee trip to Morrisons before we go for a few bottles to get us in the mood! (now I know they sell it)   Although with just a couple of months til we go I fear it is safe to say we are already in the mood and could easily go NOW! LOL

I'm a real ale drinker too but am happy to drink Mythos and Amstel. I do like the real ales brewed in Arillas, about 8 miles from Sidari though the bottles have yeast in and I prefer to pour it leaving the yeast behind. I'm going out on May 7th and will be looking for a long term let till mid October - - thats how much I like it there!!
