Hi all been holidaying in Sidari for the past couple of years and have been looking at staying at Kaloudis Village Apartments in Arillas in September. Has anyone stayed there and is Arillas a good nice place to holiday? Thanks

Hi,
Depends on what you are looking for. Arillas is a lovely little resort, but far, far quieter than Sidari. It has several family run tavernas and a lovely sandy beach, that has shallow water. Arillas beach being between Agios Georgios and Agios Stefanos bays, allows access to these other sandy beaches as well. |

Arillas is a very friendly resort, you will love it. I've stayed at the Kaloudis several times and the rooms are very clean and the family are lovely. Roula and Christos run a mini market on site and the prices are very reasonable. Billy and his wife look after the Splish splash bar and the food is very good there as well. You are just a couple of minutes away from the beach and there are plenty of good tavernas /restaurants to choose from, all serving traditional Greek food. There are also a couple of bars open until late.
Be careful..you could get addicted to it ![]() |

That would be San Stefanos harbour and its not too far to walk. It's a lovely walk up between Arillas and San Stefanos, probably about 30-40 minutes depending on how many times you stop to admire the views. From the harbour you can get boats to the islands of Mathraki, Othoni and Erikousa, although you may have already been if you'd stayed in Sidari.

Very nice but a little quiet. Nice for a day or night out but not sure I could spend a period of time there but could not go with out a trip there on our yearly trip. Every one has different tastes sure you will enjoy it. Have a great time, we usually stay in Sidari but stayed at Agios Stefanos last year but ended up most nights in Sidari, sad I know hence we are back there this year and will save money by not hiring a car to get there, the bug bear of having teenagers. Love em really. Have a great holiday.

We have never found it too quiet high season. There are plenty of tavernas, tribute bands at the Coconut, entertainment frequently at the Splish Splash at The Kaloudis Village, plenty of Greek nights and a really good vibe at The Rainbow Bar. I think San Stephanos seems quieter as it is so much more spread out.
