A Bit Of An Update

We popped down to San Stephanos this morning to see what we could see, unfortunately it was hammering down cats and dogs, so there was nobody around to have a gossip with.
As said before both Wave Bar and Damiano's Bar jetties and harbour frontage buildings have gone. However Wave bar have installed a number of large umbrella anchors screwed down. There is something different about Fagopotion jetty, not sure what, San Stephanos Boats jetty seems to have gone, it looked as if Galini Taverna is up and running, as does Eucaliptus with tables laid.
Not much else that we could see that was different.
Will have another go when we get time, a bit busy at the moment de-wintering the house and wondering what to do with the garden, its a mess.

Had lunch in Fagopotion this week and the area seemed much the same. The tavernas still have their jetties. It seems the huge fines are aimed more towards bars with a jetty and not tavernas. I do not know the harbour as well as Bob but there was a floating pontoon where boats are moored.

Fagopotion was good but an understandably small menu. Warm enough to sit outside though.

Good to know things are as normal as possible after the surprise of the fines etc and the bars taking the instant action they did. We are arriving in a little over a months time (very end of May for two weeks), so hopefully all will still be well with everyone there.  Looking forward to seeing the familiar faces. Trust Costa is well, he certainly had lost some weight last year, and was looking good.
I assume Vangellis is still working with Nico, be good to see them too.
