Want to visit Corfu again, not been for a few years, last time went to Sidari.  Have been looking at San Stefanos and wondered what it would be like in September? Me and my partner are in our forties and we like a bit of life but not really into clubs, like a few nice bars and good meals of a night. Dont like things too quiet and isolated.  Can anyone give me an idea of what sort of prices you would pay for meals out, drinks etc and could anyone recommend some self catering apartments that wont break the bank!!  Would appreciate any advice thanks Smile

If independent travellers look at www.Jasminepoolbar or ... They were new last year. We went and had a look. Very nice even down to mosquito nets over the beds. Lovely pool.
Alternatively San Stefano Travel offer a range of accomodations ranging from basic to luxury and offer a great service.
As for eating out most places offer specials at around the €8 mark, starters around the €3.0 and mains around €7.5.
Carafe of wine about €9, €4 for short and mixer, unsure of beer but approx €2.5 a pint.
There is entertainment in a few of the bars and Thomas Bay Hotel puts something on most nights, quizzes, bingo, karaoke and live acts.

Make sure you have the correct San Stefano when looking for accomodation. There are x2 areas with the same name one in NE which is the larger, (near Sidari) and the smaller in the NW. The NE has a sandy beach I believe and larger, more comercialised. S.Stef in the NW is a smaller, very pretty, fishing village.
Beside the sea all worries wash away!!

Hi Sue,
I believe that you have these confused as San Stefanos NE is a small, shingle beach with about 5 restaurants, whereas San Stefanos NW is a large sandy beach, well spread out with plenty of eateries.
