The private swimming pool is large enough for everyone to enjoy, even if the villas are full, but with excellent beaches just below the villa and the sandy beach just opposite you will often find the pool all to yourself!
Equipped with large umbrellas, sun beds and chairs, and with a cool stone-tiled terrace all round, this is a magical spot for a swim, whether you like a lazy float or a calorie-burning sprint, and moreover it will be hard to take your eyes off the view, that stretches as far as the neighbouring island of Anti-Paxos.
Pool Dimensions11.6m x 6m
The gardens are most attractive, with a mix of olive and pine trees, flowering shrubs and palm trees, all beautifully kept. A private parking area is to be found opposite the villas, and each accommodation has its own private access from this parking area.
There is a parking area just opposite the villas and for additional privacy, each villa has its own entrance way from the parking area.

The sandy beach of Mongonissi is just opposite the Dolphin Villas (This can be seen in the foreground of the above photo.)
The sandy beach of Mongonissi is one of only two sand beaches on Paxos.walking round the bay along the lane and over the bridge/causeway. There is a taverna on the beach that is open all day and often has lively entertainment, with Greek dancing and songs. Kayaks can be hired from the taverna for some enjoyable exploration of the bay. The Paxos sea is remarkably clean and clear and there is some good snorkelling around the rocks of the bay. Mongonissi Beach Paxos SupermarketPaxos: Essential Holiday Information

Gaios PaxosGaios is the 'capital' of Paxos, the largest of the three main settlements and the only one that can be called a town, albeit a very small one. Its Venetian and British heritage is visible in the colourful buildings that line the long harbour-front. Gaios now has two harbours - the newer one is a short walk or drive from the centre, and serves as the port of call for ferries, excursion and cruise boats. It is also the setting for the often spectacular arrivals and departures of the Corfu-Paxos seaplane service. The older harbour, sheltered from the open sea by two small islands, is a never-ending source of entertainment in summer, with its plethora of cosmopolitan yachts. Gaios continues its daily business regardless of its exotic visitors, and it is this contrast that makes it so entertaining to spend an hour or more at one of the cafes in the main square alongside the quay. An intriguing variety of eating establishments, chic boutiques and old-fashioned stores make Gaios quite fascinating: Gaios Paxos Loggos PaxosOn an island famed for its small-scale beauty, Loggos stands out as one of the most enchanting places on Paxos. Visitors never fail to succumb to its unique charm, and many of them have been returning year after year, glad to see that the changes are negligible, and that you still have to get up from your taverna meal to let the local bus squeeze past! The boats still bob along the curve of the quayside, fascinating in their variety, from sleek yachts to less glamorous fishing boats. The tiny harbour of Loggos, colourful enough for any artist or photographer, has a refreshingly intimate atmosphere, unspoiled by the daily influx of curious visitors. At night, little can be heard but the buzz of conversation from the busy tavernas where fresh fish always tops the menu and there is an intriguingly cosmopolitan atmosphere. Three mini-markets, a bakery with wonderful fresh bread every day, and supplies of fresh fruit and vegetables brought over regularly from the mainland, make self-catering a simple matter - but who could resist the conviviality and choice of excellent food at the waterfront tavernas? A pleasant beach lies to one side of the harbour - other more secluded beaches are within easy reach: Loggos Paxos Lakka PaxosLakka lies in the north of Paxos at the head of a long natural inlet of the most startling shade of turquoise - reminiscent of a Caribbean bay. It is a perfect harbour and is filled with a fascinating array of yachts in summer. The village itself is small and focused almost entirely on its harbour-front, with a selection of useful shops and several good restaurants and bars, including a very good Italian restaurant. The shores of the bay are fringed with beautiful natural beaches, shaded by trees, and it is possible to walk to other, more unfrequented, beaches on the other side of the headlands: Lakka Paxos
