Kefalonia Grace Emelisse Hotel
The Kefalonia Grace Emelisse hotel is a member of the award-winning Grace Hotels group of luxury boutique hotels. It lies on the north coast of Kefalonia close to Fiscardo. The hotel's extensive terraces offer perfect tranquillity and spectacular views. The hotel sits above the lovely Emblissi beach and is set amongst cypress, cedar and olive trees. It is more of a luxurious retreat or a secluded escape than a hotel. The position of the hotel is superb, taking full advantage of the natural scenic surroundings and vast ocean views across to the opposite island of Ithaca.
The hotel's main swimming pool is perched at the top of a cliff with this ocean backdrop. Below the hotel is the cool bay of Emblissi with pebbly beach and rock platforms which are great for sunbathing. The sea here is very clear and azure blue. Boats are not allowed to anchor in the cove and it is a swimmer's paradise. At night the hotel is lit by soft lamps and candlelight and there are numerous comfortable sofas on the terraces from where you can watch magnificent sunsets.
Contemporary and minimalist in design, the Emelisse is decorated with muted colours and soft lighting to complement displays of photography, art and sculptures. Its bedrooms are furnished with teak wood painted in subtle pale shades, minimalist furniture and rush matting.

Layout
There are 63 rooms ranging from Deluxe to a choice of Suites and Maisonettes. There are two main swimming pools, one featuring a children's area making it ideal for a family vacation, and a further five smaller pools serving individual hotel guest areas. Designer furniture combines with strong local architectural elements and beautiful surroundings to create a serene ambience.
The Kefalonia Grace Emelisse also offers a choice of two restaurants, a private chapel perfect for weddings, and the superb Elemis Spa which provides a variety of exotic therapies from all over the world including Morocco, Bali, Thailand and Japan. We even have our own sleek speedboat available for hire.
The Kefalonia Grace Emelisse hotel is a former member of the Art Hotels group in Greece and has recently joined the Grace Hotels group. group.
The majority of accommodation is in deluxe rooms which are double executive suites for 2 and junior suites with separated sitting room which can sleep up to 3.
There are a few maisonettes and family suites which are near the playground and have access to a separate shared swimming pool and children's pool.
There are 3 more luxurious suites - the Grace Suite and two VIP Suites each having two bedrooms.

Double Executive Suites
Seluxe Rooms
There are 36 Double Executive suites which are similar in layout but have 3 levels of pricing according to the side sea view, full sea view and full sea view by private shared pool.
A private shared pool means that whilst the pool is shared with other Double Executive suites in this category, it is separate from the hotel's main swimming pool.
The Double Executives are the hotel's standard accommodation having a spacious room measuring 136 square feet with double canopy bed and teak furniture.

Junior Suites
The 20 Junior suites are priced on 3 levels according to side sea view, full sea view or private shared pool and full sea view.
The Juniors have a sitting area in the bedroom where the sofa can be converted to a single bed. The rooms are 147 square feet offering a more luxurious option for 2 persons or an extra bed making a triple room

Emelisse Maisonettes
The maisonettes are laid out on two floors, offering ample accommodation for 4 adults plus 2 children. On the upper floor level there are two bedrooms - one twin and one double and two separate bathrooms. On the ground floor level there is a sitting and dining area, a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities.
The balconies and terraces offer sea view and there is access to the shared swimming pool.

Emelisse Family Suites
These family apartments have two bedrooms with separate bathrooms, kitchenette, sitting and dining area to sleep 4 adults and one or two children. They have sea and mountain views and are situated next to the playgrounds, with access to a private shared swimming pool.

The Grace and VIP Suites
Our 100 sq m VIP Suites offer a spacious living room, two bedrooms with king-size beds and separate bathrooms with shower. Both have sea views and share a private swimming pool with a small number of nearby guest rooms.

Our Grace Suite is the hotel's signature suite and represents the premier accommodation at the Kefalonia Grace Emelisse. Situated on the ground level with direct access to a private swimming pool, shared with a minimal number of nearby guest rooms, this suite is available in a two or three bedroom configuration with the total living area extending to 152 sq m.
The Grace Suite comprises a spacious living room, a dining area, and two or three bedrooms with king-size beds according to guests' preferences. There are also separate bathrooms with shower. The suite features all the luxurious detailing that defines the Kefalonia Grace Emelisse.

Emelisse Swimming pool and Recreation
The Emelisse is famous for its large luxurious infinity pool which looks stunning as it appears to seamlessly meet its ocean backdrop. There are large terraces around the pool with sunloungers and comfortable sofas to enjoy the views in the day and evening.
There is a pool bar open day and evening, serving drinks and food by the pool.
Apart from the main swimming pool, there are another 6 swimming pools, 2 of which are children's pools. The hotel offers what they call 'private shared swimming pools' which indicates that there are separate swimming pools which are offered as private pools to certain categories of suites, which share the pool allocated to them.
Gym and Tennis
The hotel has a fully equipped gymnasium and tennis court with racquets provided as well as mountain bikes available - all for free use by guests. There is also a pool table.
Elemis Day Spa
The hotel operates an Elemis health spa offering a variety of beauty therapies and massage ranging from one hour treatments to all day pampering (5 hours) with lunch included. (Payable locally)

Dining at the Emelisse Hotel Fiscardo
There is a choice of places to eat within the hotel. Breakfast is a home made buffet of omelettes, cake and pies or you may have a healthy, low fat breakfast if you prefer.
The Votsalo restaurant is open throughout the day for lunch and dinner and in the hotel owner's words, offers a menu 'that tiptoes among elegant seafood, traditional Mediterranean dishes, pasta and grilled plates.'
The Riza is a newly established lounge bar and restaurant overlooking the small gulf of Emblissi serving cocktails, snacks and small delicacies from all around Greece. It is fitted with a heated infinity pool and a jaccuzzi. You can finish your day, savouring a glass of Kefalonian Robola wine, and watching movies in the open air cinema
