Sleep 2-4

Situated in a quiet residential area of Aghia Efimia, these three maisonettes are suitable for a couple or a family with 2 children who wish to be close to the sea and all the amenities in Aghia Efimia.
The maisonettes are next door to the Aghia Efimia apartments.

Three maisonettes with very similar layout are situated on the first floor of the building.
Maisonette Katerina sleeps 2.
Maisonette Sia sleeps 2.
Maisonette Nikoleta has two bedrooms (interconnected) and sleeps up to 4 persons.
Each one has a double bed with two singles on the upper level which is reached by a spiral wooden staircase.
On the lower level there is an ample kitchen area which incorporates the dining room and a spacious open plan living room with comfy sofa and chairs. Separate shower room/wc is also on this level.

Sizeable kitchens have large fridge, small cooker with two cooking rings and plenty of storage space. Maisonette Nikoleta has the dining room within the kitchen area which is separated by a bar.

The kitchen is separated from the living area by the dining table. French windows lead out to the balcony.

Each maisonette has an open-plan dining room either within the kitchen area or between the kitchen and living room. Dining table and four chairs.

Katerina and Sia

The sleeping area is on the top level reached by wooden staircase. Double bed and two single beds makes the apartments ideal for a family with children.

Nikoleta

Nikoleta, has a separate twin bedroom which interconnects with the open plan sleeping area with double bed.

There are no large or luxury class hotels in Aghia Efimia. The hotels here are smaller and family run. There is a selection of self-catering studios and apartments and a sprinkling of recently built luxury villas with privacy and their own swimming pools.

SAMI

Sami is the second busiest port on Kefalonia with ferries serving other island. It is a very charming working town with it's harbour long waterfront, lined with restaurants and tavernas offering a fine selection of foods. Sami dates back to the prehistoric period. Homer described Sami as part of the kingdom of Ulysses, the leader of Cephallenes.
SAMI
Aghia Efimia is centrally situated on the island and is close to Melisani Lake. The port of Sami is 15 minutes' drive along the coast with the caves of Drogarati nearby.

Beaches along the south east coast tend to be pebbly and from Sami down to Poros the coastline offers mostly beaches which are inaccessible by road. Antisammos is probably the most famous in this area as it was one of the locations used when filming Captain Corelli's Mandolin.
