Not sure if this will get posted, I take it that the fish farm topic has been closed, and the blue pencil postings refer to this.
I thought the fish farm debate, was very constructive with some good postings, that concerned all who care and love Corfu, whatever your views were.
I have belonged, (if that's the right word) to this forum from the outset with many others who post on here, and surely the idea of a good forum is to debate issues that concern people who support, live, visit, and care about Corfu.
If you did not care either way, you would not post, surely if the powers that be decide the topic should be closed, then at least give us an explanation, after all we are supporting your website, by posting.

I personally have no preference, whether they have fish farms or not.

Thanks David

Agree totally, sometimes topics have to be closed to avoid litigation but this one seemed unnecessarily draconian

I have come to Corfu several times sailing and eat at fish places and other eating places. I thought it was interesting discussion and it would not put me off going out eating fish. Did not seem a problem to me, just good discussion? Been in Spain sailing a lot too, discussion not a problem there.

I suspect that the removal of that thread was due to the mention of the individual concerned with the project.

I would suggest that we must all be aware that as interesting as the subject was and as pertinent as it was to those living here and particularly those employed within tourism, it could have given the wrong impression to prospective visitors. Strewth! That was a mouthful!

It's a shame that there is no place where we can discuss such matters that would not be counter-productive to the tourism industry.

If anyone shares the view expressed in the last paragraph, perhaps you would PM me. I am not up to mischief, honest!

Personally I'd have preferred it if someone had just censored any specific name that was mentioned. I'm bottom of the pile in this household when it comes to computer use, so my replies were done on my phone. They took FOREVER to compose only to be sent to the neverafter!
