Holiday Review:
Frangokastello is an excellent site for walkers. There is easy access (if you have a car) to many Gorges, and to the ferry service at Chora Sfakion. The owners of the Villas are most helpful, and do not seem to be phased by anything: even two very windswept OAPs who managed to lock themselves out of their Villa at 2.30am shortly after they arrived! The food at the Taverna is of excellent quality, prepared on site, and there is plenty of choice for Vegetarians as well as meat-eaters. Lovely and well maintained pool and garden. The Villa is well maintained, and kept clean. Villas, are, as described, close to the beach which is clean and inviting. Altogether an excellent choice of location, Villa and services.
Holiday Review:
We had a fantastic time. We really enjoyed our stay in the villa and the location was superb. Spiros and his family at the tavervna were all so friendly and kind. We will certainly recommend to friends and family and may well return another year. The property was exactly as advertised and the driving instructions with photographs was most helpful.
What a fantastic holiday. Away from it all, the villa is lovely with great views of mountains and a short stroll to the beach. We ate at the taverna owned by Spiros (the owner of the villas) every night. Had the beach to ourselves for most of our week here in early May. We will definately be returning.

Great quality villa in an off the beaten track location. Definitely need a car to get out and about. Tiny rural/coastal village strung out along the coast line with a handful of good tavernas (Spiro's Vatalos Taverna was very good). Great for total relaxation away from it all - good walking in the gorges of Imros and Nektarios.
The villa is very nice and clean. The owner are also very friendly and helpful if you have any questions. The location is great if you're looking for a place without too much tourists. We enjoyed the 10 days in this villa!
We stayed at Spiros Villa for the last week of October. The weather was perfect and we had the beach totally to ourselves! Spiros Taverna is just a short walk and the food and hospitality amazing (be careful as he gives you a large Tisporo after your meal which can make you legless!).
The villa was clean and all new. The bedrooms light and bathrooms fine. The pool, although starting to get a little cool as it was late in the season, was a delight and totally private.
Many thanks to Agni Travel for the driving instructions and comprehensive villa book that helped us find out what was nearby. Special thanks to George for calling us to make sure all was OK. It was and we had a delightful holiday with you. One we hope to have again next year.
