Phew- straight off the plane and straight back to work!! That goes some way towards explaining my terrible rudeness in not having written sooner. Please forgive me.
Again, a lovely holiday in the Baker's House Lower, and I did say to Nathan how impressed we were with the alterations that Chandos has made since we were last there. As Brian and I start shopping around in readiness for our own kitchen refurbishment due to take place over the next few months,it was a real treat to cook with an oven that behaved itself and with a door that shut properly-ours hasn't been capable of doing either for months!
The flowers and fizz and your lovely birthday card were a wonderful surprise-thank you so much. I did have a lovely birthday, thank you; we spent it with friends, firstly on one of George and Alex' s motor boats with Martin and Annie and son Ben,and then later in Agni Bay for a delicious meal at Nikolas' ....ooops-I meant Taverna Agni!! LOL..
I hope now that the worst excesses of the season are passing over you can all look forward to taking a bit of a breather. You deserve it. I'm delighted that Agni Travel is going form strength to strength.
Well, here's to next year then! I'm afraid though that the hill up to Loustri is starting to get to me a bit and that we are going to need somewhere 'flatter' next year, possibly closer rather than farther away from Kalami. Any ideas?!!
