Idyllic way to travel

With your own motor boat, you can visit the numerous little secluded bays, stopping off for lunch or drinks at the many idyllic beach side tavernas, including of course, our Taverna Agni.

Boat rental - what you need to know

No licence is required.
You have to pay for the petrol used. A normal day of cruising will use about 25 Euros worth.
You cannot use the boats after dark, even if moored outside of your villa. The boat agent will usually collect your boat after each day at around 6pm.
You can moor without charge to any of the jetties along the coast. Most taverna owners will help you.
The boats are steered either by a tiller system or a steering wheel. The latter cost more.
It is possible to rent a boat for the minimum period of one day, but as with car hire, it is cheaper for a longer period.
During peak times (Mid June - Sept), you will only be able to rent if you have reserved beforehand. It is well worth contacting the the rental companies in advance of your holiday to do so.

Boat Rental HP Engine Sizes

Boats of the following sizes can be rented:
10hp,15hp,25hp.
Boats with an engine larger than 25hp can be rented, but they require a speed-boat licence.

Sun Canopy

The sun canopy should be used during the midday sun - especially if you have young children - with the cool sea breezes you can easily forget how strong the sun is.
