Greek roads have improved over the years. Gone are the pot-holes on every bend. The overriding problem though is 'olives'. Yes most of the roads are olive tree lined - the olives fall onto the road to be squashed by your rental Suzuki Jeep's tyres, ensuring that only the finest quality cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil is drizzled onto the tarmac! Watch out, this combination is very slippery.

Do Not Worry

With extra care and respect for other drivers, your experience here will be a delight. Around a corner you may meet a donkey, but almost certainly a breathtaking view. Follow a narrow track from the main road and you will find a delightful cove.

When driving your rental car, it is necessary to carry your driving licence at all times. If you do not have a new 'photo' version, then we recommend you carry your passport as well.

Laws governing drink-driving, are similar to those in the rest of Europe and UK.
