Exploring Corfu

There are various ways to travel around the Island. Hiring a car, taking a local bus, a taxi or even a boat taxi, and with such beautiful views, cool air, and fabulous feeling renting a motor boat can be the experience of your holiday - and no licence is required. However, maybe you prefer travelling around Corfu on land, whatever your choice here you will find details of all the various ways to see the beautiful island of Corfu.

Corfu Roads and Mopeds

If you decide to rent a moped or bike, please be very careful. Insist on a crash-hat and of course never drink and ride.

Local buses

Local buses are a cheap way to travel, but the bus timetables are a little difficult to find and often change without notice! The best way, is to ask a 'local' - those seen drinking Retsina at 9 am in their local 'Kafeneon' are always most helpful! Local buses

What to See and Visit

If lying on sun drenched beaches, or lazing by the pool, is not your scene, try visiting the old town of Kerkyra, climb mount Pantokrator, or take a trip to a water park.
